Mohd Nurman has a unique LNG background. He has a broad and depth experience in the FSRU industry, along with experience in long-term LNG shipping projects, LNG ship chartering and long-term LNG supply and LNG spot business. Some of his main contributions to the LNG industry were in the development of Hong Kong Offshore LNG Terminal project, Jawa-1 LNG-to-Power project, procurement of 2-strokes LNG newbuilding vessels for ENN, and development of the 3rd FSRU project in Bangladesh. His career in the LNG industry has taken him to work in Kuala Lumpur, London, Tokyo and Singapore. Currently Mohd Nurman is responsible for new LNG business in Bangladesh for Summit Group from the development of the 3rd FSRU for Bangladesh, long-term LNG supply with Petrobangla and development of land-based LNG receiving terminal.
Mohd Nurman graduated in MSc. in Energy, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, UK and BSc. in Information Technology from University of Malaya, Malaysia.
