Sobhith is Lloyd's Register’s (LR) global manager responsible for newbuild support services and alternative fuel project support to shipowners and charterers. He has been involved with the development of LNG newbuilding projects from early-stage design to construction phase.Sobhith has been working with Lloyd’s Register for 18 years and has held various positions with the organization. He is passionate about Gas Technology, Maritime De-carbonisation and leads efforts to support the transition to alternate fuels and building of LNG/Gas Carriers. Sobhith received his degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Glasgow, U.K. and holds an MBA from Singapore Management University, Singapore.
