Himanshu holds over 19 years’ experience in the LNG Industry. Currently managing FSRU assets with Excelerate Energy, he was working with oil major Shell for more than 16 years and was based in London in his last role managing LNGs/LNGBV during his last role, before moving to Kuala Lumpur with WSM. He has a strong marine engineering background with expertise in the technical & operational management and drydocking of LNG Vessels, LNG Bunker Vessels & FSRUs.

He holds a pioneering experience in LNG bunkering for over 7 years and in his previous experiences served as the Team Lead in setting up of the LNG bunkering operations and rapid expansion of LNGBVs within the fleet. In the role of a Project Manager he has also been instrumental in operationalisation and delivery in 2023 for the FSRU conversion project in China.

Himanshu holds a Bachelor of Marine Engineering (Honors) from the Marine Engineering & Research Institute, and a Class-I Certificate of Competency (Steam & Motor) from India.
