Having worked for Lloyd’s Register consulting, and as an ex VP within Engie/Total’s LNG business stream, Gordon has extensive experience across the full length of the LNG value chain, and in particular has over 20 years of involvement in FSRU projects. Now running his own business, he is a leading consultant in the field of FSRUs and FSRU terminal project development. 

As one of the most experienced FSRU figures, he has an unusual combination of strong commercial, contractual, and technical project development expertise and an understanding of the key risks that must be managed for a successful project. This broad knowledge and established reputation meant that he was highly in demand by project developers during the 2022 European energy crisis. With an involvement in the majority of the firm European projects he probably has one of the best insights to the current state of the FSRU industry.
