Lead Asia Gas Analyst

Alex Siow leads the Asia gas team in creating and maintaining ICIS’ LNG global supply and demand forecast. He oversees the day-to-day running of the forecast output, research and analysis of global gas/LNG markets, product development and market engagement.

Prior to joining ICIS, Alex was a research analyst at Wood Mackenzie supporting the upstream and LNG suite of products, both on the commercial and economics side. Before that, he was a manager with Deloitte Petroleum Services where he led a team of oil and gas analysts to work on research and analysis, product development and market engagement. In the early days of his career, Alex was also a data analyst in Shell and Accenture.

With close to 15 years of experience in the oil and gas space, Alex is one of the leading oil and gas expert in Asia. His previous experiences span across oil, gas and LNG economics, supply and demand fundamentals, forecasts and market analyses. 

Alex holds a Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
